Minerva has many years of experience working with children. She began her career as a middle school English teacher in the Philippines, plus she spent several years in Hong Kong, working as a nanny. When Mimi arrived in Canada her goal was to ultimately get back into the classroom, so she enrolled in the E.C.E. program at Seneca College. She then started working at Unicorn Daycare right after her graduation in 2001.
